MEN’S BOWLING CLUB

Our club is a medium size club within the South Coast District Bowling Association. We compete in District Pennants and District Championships as well as numerous tournaments throughout the region.

We have had success in past years in all grades of Pennants and District Championships. We have achieved multiple Pennant flags in various grades. Our Bowlers have and continue to compete in numerous District, Zone and State Championships.

  • Two men in athletic clothing on a lawn bowls green, one crouching and the other standing, with many lawn bowls scattered on the ground. The crouching man wears a blue and yellow jacket and a cap, and the standing man is in a red, black, and white shirt with a pink hat and sunglasses. Behind them, there is a sign indicating a match between teams 25 and 26, with scores.

    Championships

We play all Club Championships at our Club including State Singles and Pairs, Triples, Fours.

All minor championships and mixed championships.

We hold a combined presentation day early August each year to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our Bowlers (both Men and Women).

Awards and prize money are awarded to those members who have had success in our internal championships.

  • A group of elderly people participating in a lawn bowls game at a park. They are wearing matching yellow and blue shirts with a logo that says 'Calbarra Beach.' The scene shows some players preparing for a shot, while a man in the center faces the camera giving a thumbs-up gesture. The background features green grass, plants, and a building with closed umbrellas and benches. The date '10/02/2021' is visible in the lower right corner of the image.

    New Bowlers

New bowlers are always welcome. We will teach anyone! We have 6 male and 1 female accredited coaches. It is best to speak to a coach about learning to play and learning the correct way rather than learning from a friend (who may teach you bad habits.)

  • A lawn bowls green with several players practicing or competing, some near the edge and others scattered across the field. There is a building with solar panels to the left and a flagpole nearby. In the bottom right corner, there is a close-up of a lawn bowls ball with a blue and yellow pattern, labeled 'Callebo.' The background shows a road and some trees, indicating an outdoor sports facility.
